Success!

Okay, soooo today is the first day of Ayana at her dayhome! I dropped her off at 915Am and she didn't even cry!! Mind you, she thought about it. As the dayhome lady held her hand and the other toddlers were dancing around her she was looking back at me with that expression, you know the one, the one that can break a mother's heart like, "What's happening? Where are you going?" But the dayhome gal called me immediately after to say that she didn't even cry! WOOT! It makes me feel so good that she will be playing with other kids her age, and having another grown-up interacting with her. I unloaded groceries and it is veeery quiet in the house. Love it. Now I am going to go climb in the tub and then get some other stuff done.

Regan is doing great! He should be in Moab Utah by now. He has not been there since we went on our month long trip when we were dating 13 years ago!

Have a great day!

Congratulations! How many days a week will she go? Marissa goes once a week to daycare in a local church. She cried evertime for over a month. Now she's fine. It's good for them!

PS Doug is VERY jealous of Regan. Thanks for blogging about it!

Congrats on getting to put your groceries away in peace! Eric (almost 22 months) goes to a sitter's two mornings a week. It's perfect because Eric loves going there (the woman is amazing), but is also excited to see me when I pick him up. Both Mommy and Eric are happy to have those three hours!

I checked out your husband's blog. Very cool. But don't sell yourself short - your blog is great too!

That's great that she did so well! It makes it much easier to leave them when they aren't grabbing onto you for dear life and screaming your name. :)
