The SPA party was a GREAT success!!! It was amazing how they transformed our basement to an actual spa, complete with furniture, a mini waterfall, a massage mat, pillows. They did facials, manicures, made their own body glitter and lip balm, they played games, and won prizes. When each girl arrived they each got a very fluffy terry cloth robe in either yellow or pink, they could have a hair band or turban, they each got flip flops they could keep. On a little table was a giant pretty bowl with bottles of water with labels that said "Ellie's spa party", and another big bucket with Tween magazines in it, which the girls devoured! They brought and played CD's, so we listend to Hannah Montana all day! They set the table with table cloth, cutlery, plates, plastic wine glasses, even napkins! Balloons... you name it. Then when it was time for cake, the two gals came up and I said, "oh, you guys can start your clean up if you want to". And they said, "Oh no! This is a part of our service! To help you do cake and presents!" So there they were helping me distribute icecream cake and sprite and ice tea. Then when it was time for presents off they went with the kids downstairs and the one gal sat with Ellie and basically did everythin while I just supervised and enjoyed the moment. WORTH EVERY PENNY!! When the kids parents arrived each child got a treat bag made and brought by Annabel's Attic!! Basically I supplied the cake, the drinks... and that's it!!! But it doesn't come cheap. A "Don't lift a finger" party that we had, and because we had 10 kids we needed an extra helper, was PRICEY. But seriously, WORTH EVERY RED CENT!! Or in my case... WORTH EVERY BIT OF PLASTIC! I could only post pictures with Ellie in it, or with other kids whose faces are not really recognizable, with respect to other parents and thier children. But trust me, it was AWESOME!
Have a great day!!!
